Elvie was fantastic, she really took the time to listen to what I wanted for my haircut and delivered what I asked for. She talked me through styling my wavey hair. She is very knowledgeable. Will definitely be back. :)

As always absolutely lovely! This is my fourth or fifth time getting my haircut at Wilderness and I’m always so pleased with the result and the entire experience is always an absolute treat. Louise and Elvie are just super lovely!

Fabulous! From being told at my previous hairdresser (trusted across all of the hairdressers because, well, you just do after lots of years) that my hair was not curly, and if I ask for it styled curly it was curled with straighteners, to now have hair back at my ‘natural’ colour and with curls I haven’t had since I was five, it’s just fabulous!!

Amazing! For years I have been struggling with ‘frizzy’ hair and would ask my hairdresser(s) to cut and style it curly, at which point the straighteners would come out. I have spent hundreds on products which didn’t work. I have come away armed with knowledge and a bag full of products tailored to my hair, along with fabulous curls. Thank you!!

I really enjoyed my first visit to Wilderness Hair. It was such a pleasure to have my hair cut by someone that understands curly hair and felt that Louise just got me and my hair straight away. I was given lots of useful advise about washing and styling my curls and came away with a much fresher, more youthful haircut than I have had in years. I am really looking forward to doing my hair at home now as with this cut it feels more fun and versatile. It was also a great excuse to stay the night in beautiful Kirby Lonsdale! I've already booked my next cut and colour!

I’m usually the person who leaves a hair salon looking like a well-meaning but slightly traumatized poodle. If you have curly hair, you know the drill: the cut is okay, but the blowdry makes you look like you plugged yourself into an electrical outlet. Enter yesterday. Game. Changed. Not only did I love the cut, but the drying didn't make me want to wear a paper bag home. Plus, I basically got a PhD in Curl Management. Louise doesn't just know what she’s doing; she is a hair wizard. But listen to me, and listen carefully: do not tell a soul; it took me months to get booked in. Very Special!
