I was visiting Phoenix and it was my first time going to Emg Barbershop. The barbers were all really cool and it was a nice atmosphere overall. Emajanae was awesome — super cool to chat with and gave me a perfect cut. Highly recommend her if you’re in the Ahwatukee / Phoenix area!

From the moment I stepped into the building to when I got on the chair to get my haircut, Theresa was super friendly, professional, and was super communicative. I really liked how easy it was to book and how her form specified beforehand how I want our session to go (ex: sociable session, quiet, etc). I absolutely loved the experience. Her price is reasonable with everything that I got done today. I've always had "ok" haircuts but this was AMAZING. I totally cried from happiness Internally when she was done haha. I definitely recommend her and will be coming back and referring friends and fam.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic experience with Cozaire at EMG Barbershop. He quickly understood the exact haircut and style I was looking for and delivered it perfectly. It’s not easy to find a barber who gets your vision right away, but Cozaire absolutely did. What made the visit even better was the great conversation. He’s open-minded, friendly, and easy to talk to, and we ended up having some really interesting discussions during the haircut. Artem also did an amazing, super sharp haircut for my son — he absolutely loved it! Artem is great with kids and really takes pride in his work. Fuckin 10/10. Also gave CJ the reigns to do what he thought would work. Ended in a perfect change of pace of a haircut. My wife literally said “This is the best haircut you’ve ever had”. Genuinely, CJ is going far. I’m coming back for sure.

Theresa is not only talented with cuts and color. She is also a great listener who makes sure you have the haircut/look you had envisioned. She was very patient and she had taken the time to check my hair texture, lifestyle and personality. Getting a haircut can be anxiety driven especially when one has ALOT of hair much less thick strands, Theresa was very kind and welcoming that helped ease my nerves. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new look and is not in a rush to get a new GLOW UP! Will definitely come back!

Theresa is incredibly personable and freely gives expert suggestions and full information on aftercare. She made the whole process so easy! I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, so I gave a few main things I wanted (shorter, but long enough to tie up, something lower maintenance) and she gave me a haircut that was even better than what I could imagine. I'm now off to my summer adventures - hiking, climbing, and adventuring in lightweight and super stylish hair :) Theresa is willing to open up and I loved my time with her! She's my new go-to girl~

This was my first time going to Theresa for my hair, she was recommended by a relative. And I absolutely love my hair and the service was amazing! I love all the tips Theresa gave me to maintain my hair and keeping it healthy. She was very detail oriented and a perfectionist with my hair and asked many questions to get the cut and color I want. This is my third time back to Theresa for her hair services! The best word I can describe for her work is THOROUGH. Theresa took her time to assess the current state of my hair and any inspiration or goals I’m looking for by the end of my haircut or hair dyeing experience. She explains every step of the way and shares recommendations freely! When I sit in her salon chair, I feel safe and I trust her work.
