I’ve always wanted to find a stylist who could just look at me and know I wanted and then watch them apply their craft. Today I walked into Vintage Throne in Barrie and went WOW! I finally found the place I want to have my haircut for the rest of my life. I love the building and how owner Daniel has designed his Salon. From the moment you walk in till the moment you leave, you feel at home. The finished product when I left was truly the best haircut I’ve ever had. Thank you for opening up in South Barrie. Great place! Daniel was excellent. I wanted recommendations on a hair style that fit my head shape and hair type. Daniel was great providing advice, options and recommendations. Too many barbers/haircutters just want to get you in and out as quickly as possible and just want you to tell them exactly how you want it because they're not getting paid for their ideas. Not here! No other barber I've been to has provided this kind of service! Also, everyone in the shop was very friendly, so nice to be offered an espresso. I've finally found my new barber shop in Barrie! Hooray!

This spot leaves such a great impression, it'd be hard to forget it. The lounge smells so good, greeting guests with the appetizing aromatics of coffee, light citrus and wood musk. Their experience is unmatched; the respect for their craft and their client is really something else. Each time I book with these guys I always leave looking 10x better and with more confidence. It’s more than just a haircut for me, it’s a total energy reset. they're worth it every single time. 10/10, would absolutely (and have) recommend

Stopped by for a fade and clean up. Was immediately welcomed with an espresso and warm smiles. Mike saved the day and absolutely crafted the image I described to him. Not only was the haircut incredible, but the conversation and atmosphere were eclectic. Definitely will be back to see Mike, and I would recommend this shop to everyone!

Dan gave me the best haircut of my life! Gave him a loose idea of what I was looking for and he knocked it out of the park immediately. I recommend letting your hair grow out a little and letting them take care of it, they definitely know what they’re doing. Will be coming back again in the future!

I really like the talent and atmosphere. I take my teenage son & they do a great job of listening to him & implementing his requests. As a single mom, I cannot afford to pay for a haircut, so I cut my own. I understand how important hair is to teens, so I’ll pay for him. When I went to tip, the options (if I recall) were 20%, 25% or 30%. You could also do a custom tip… which I should’ve done, but felt pressured to do the minimum 20% (didn’t want to seem unappreciative). The difference between 50.00 and 55.00 makes a difference to me. Please start your tip at 15% for us just getting by.

I’ve always loved coming into vintage thrones! Every time they treat me life family, educate me on my hair needs, and give me the best haircut I’ve ever had! I’ve travelled throughout the world and haven’t found any place I like more!

I have been countless times and it’s always top notch, but took my 3 year old son who was visibly nervous about going to get a haircut and ALL the guys were above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and safe. Can’t say enough about everybody at the shop. They played with my son while he was waiting for me, gave him toys to play with AND keep. So he went from being terrified to now talking the entire ride home about how much he loves it.!🙏🏻

I always have an amazing experience at Vintage Throne!! I had the pleasure of having Dan performing his magic on my hair! Great chat and great cut!! Vintage Throne is more than a haircut. It is all about the atmosphere and the people you spend a half an hour to 45 mins socializing with while you get your haircut. Lots of people can cut hair but you don’t get the experience you do at Vintage Throne anywhere else…period!!! I’ll be a customer for life!!
