Robin is honestly the best hair stylist - I’ve tried more than a dozen Korean and Japanese stylists around Melbourne to get a wolfcut perm as an Asian guy and no one has ever really nailed it…except Robin. He pays attention to the natural sectioning of your hair, the texture/thickness and achieves the look you want based on how your hair behaves. Thanks Robin, you’re the best!

I spotted this salon while walking around the area a few days ago and booked an appointment to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! Haru had just moved to Melbourne from Hong Kong after working in Tokyo and Osaka. He was incredibly stylish, skilled, patient, and paid great attention to detail. Just had an excellent haircut experience at Little Bear Barbershop in South Yarra, Melbourne. Garreth absolutely nailed the fade — super clean, sharp, and exactly the style I was after. He took the time to understand what I wanted and delivered with great attention to detail. Really happy with how it turned out. The whole experience was smooth, professional, and worth it. Definitely coming back and highly recommend Garreth if you're after a quality fade!

I’ve been with EdwardsAndCo Fitzroy for over a year and the service has always been consistent. The team is warm, welcoming, and never makes you feel any different or less. I had my haircut last Friday for my graduation. Julia, my usual stylist, was away, but she made sure I was in good hands with James. He was easy to talk to, considerate, and always checked in before proceeding. He respected Julia’s style while adding his own expertise. His calm and kind approach put me at ease and the result was perfect. A true testament to the quality of their whole team.

It is always a pleasure to visit the South Yarra salon. I've been coming to Shibui for 30+ years, originally to their South Melbourne salon which no longer exists. Simon is an amazing cutter and stylist - I always come out loving my hair even when we've tried big changes over the years. We have great chats - I value his open, intelligent, and personable approach. The support team are all incredible, making tea, providing the best head massages at the basin, and generally being warm and welcoming. Love Shibui!

LAB + CO has been looking after me for 2 years, since I moved back from the UK. I was initially very nervous about finding someone in Melbourne but have struck gold with Lisa! Not only have all of my systems been of great quality - I always look forward to my appointments, as feel like I'm catching up with a friend. Absolutely marvellous. From the very first impression to the end of my blowdry, I felt in very safe and competent hands. My stylist was very friendly and took time to consult with me and discuss my requirements. I'm so sorry I've forgotten his name but he was a young man from the UK . Gave me a great shampoo and a really fab blowdry. I received two compliments on my hair that day. :) I was visiting from interstate and Bradley Rose Salon is my " go to" for my hair appointments when I'm in Melbourne.
