I have been going to Take Pride Barbershop for the past 4 years. And every time I have gone whether for a haircut, Dyeing, or a shave. I have been beyond pleased with the outcome. Also the staff is friendly & the shop is very clean. Anyone looking for a phenomenal haircut, dyeing, a relaxing shave, or a combination. Hands down one of, if not THE best barbershops in town. I've been going to Throne for a few years now, and Nathan Cha always does me justice. High and Tight, skin fade, beard trim and lineup, and a neck shave.. and not a single hair out of place. 10/10 recommend.

I have been searching for a barbershop ever since moving here to Oregon. Pearl was patient and did an awesome job in listening to my needs, to cutting, and then styling my hair. The shampoo service was refreshing and will definitely request this service with all my future haircut appointments at this establishment.

I moved to Oregon about 2 1/2 years ago and struggled to find legitimate barbershop. After getting cut at Throne I have never went anywhere else or will go anywhere else. It's an amazing atmosphere the staff is Great and best of all every barber in there is amazing at what they do. Are usually book with Jonathan but all the barbers are great.

Couldn’t feel more badass leaving a place than I do every time I leave Take Pride Barbershop. Every person there has a unique attention to detail mixed with a professional approach and all around good vibes. I can’t recommend them enough. Johnathan Baker is a fantastic guy. He has been cutting my hair for 18 months, almost every 2 weeks. Always on time, fun to talk to, great haircut, courteous and prompt. One of the best barbershops in Portland!

Blake is my favorite barber in Portland, hands down. I've tried a number of other spots that are closer to my home, or my work, but he's the only one that seems to know how to correctly cut my thin blond hair. I'll catch a ride across the city just to get a cut from him—so wherever he's cutting hair, that's where I'll go—and I'm super happy to see he found a new spot at Take Pride Barbershop. Clean. Comfy.
