I had an excellent time and the results were satisfactory- I love my new hair! My only concern was that 1) it didn't clearly mention on the website that Salon 34 is run by the hairstylist training program at Abbotsford Secondary School and therefore 2) getting there was confusing, and I had to have staff let me into the school as the doors were locked and the website didn't give clear instructions on where the Salon was located and how to get there. Other than that, the appointment went smoothly and I got excellent care from one of the students while the instructor supervised.

Deva is so amazing!! She’s so friendly and always executes exactly what envision for my hair. Such a wonderful studio she’s in too. I was recommended to her by a friend and it was the best decision I made for a stylist.

This was my second haircut with her, and I’m very impressed with the improvement and professionalism. The haircut looked amazing, the attention to detail was excellent, and the whole process was about 30 minutes faster than the first time. You can really see the confidence and skill growing. I love Deva, I never cry after my haircuts and she makes me feel so comfortable I probably talk too much. I drive all the way from New West 2x a year to see her because? She is worth the trip. Is she a curl specialist.......... idk, but she is very special to me. Blessings

this was my second appointment with deva for a mullet cut and i was so happy to be back. it’s been super refreshing to be sitting in someone’s chair who is actively listening to my concerns and understanding not only how i want my hair to look but also why i want it to look that way. deva is incredibly queer-friendly, both her and the space are very welcoming, she seems super authentic, knowledgeable, and is great to talk to. ive been as happy with my haircut after a month of grow out vs a day after the appointment. definitely will continue to see deva on a regular basis because of this.

Deva never misses. Whether it’s a simple trim or full overhaul she nails it ever time. 10:10 recommend especially if you have curls, or love a good mullet/shag.
