Installation time largely depends on the technique used to secure your wig. Sewing a wig in place takes between 3-6 hours. In contrast, it takes less than an hour to install a lace front wig using special adhesive, and around an hour to install a full-lace wig and a 360 wig.

The installation of your wig is dictated by your hair’s length, texture and thickness, the wig you choose, and the installation technique you go for. Excess lace is trimmed off, and makeup may or may not be used to help blend the lace edge with your skin to create a natural-looking finish. If you’ve opted to have your wig sewn-in, you’ll swap the adhesive stage for stitching the wig in place.
