What is the process of installing a wig like?

The installation of your wig is dictated by your hair’s length, texture and thickness, the wig you choose, and the installation technique you go for. Full-lace, lace front, and 360 wigs tend to require your hair to be absolutely flat before the wig is applied; this is achieved by braiding your hair into cornrows, or by wearing a wig cap. Next, a special adhesive (tape or glue) is applied to the outer perimeter of your hair (ensuring no glue touches your own hair), the wig fitted to your head and fixed in place with clips to allow the glue to bond.
