The entire team at Shine On exceeded expectations. I don’t know thst I’ve had a salon experience in Chicago where I felt I was actually being listened to when explaining what I’m looking for. Noah took the time to explain what he was doing, including what I could expect two and three cuts out. I had eyebrow threading done with Weronicka and she too was amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a grown up experience. I’ll be sharing the Shine On business card with friends and look forward to my next salon day.

I travel the country 10 months out of the year, so I’ve sat in a lot of different barber chairs from coast to coast. That being said it my opinion that Shine on is the best barber shop in the country. I’m not local to Chicago either, I travel from Arkansas to get my haircut and beard by Julio. I’d trust any member of the staff to cut my hair, everyone is top notch. At shine on you are made to feel like family. I feel like the most handsome man alive every time I leave their establishment.

Shine On has been the best experience I have come across. The haircuts and eyebrow threading/waxing services have been of the highest quality. I know I can always rely on their services and get amazing results every time right before any big events requiring a polished look. Noah and Veronica always goes above and beyond to provide the best service while providing extraordinary results for haircuts and eyebrow waxing & threading. The consistency with the quality is something hard to find at many other places which is why I am willing to fly in from out-of-state whenever I have the chance to get their services. Additionally, they are both super friendly and personable. Occasionally, you might be visited by their friendly dogs, Cooper and Gloria, whom are both very adorable and friendly. Highly recommended.

I am so pleased with the result of my Korean Lash Lift! I have had many lash lifts in my life and this is the best by a significant margin. Athena is such a warm and wonderful aesthetician…I feel so lucky she’s in my neighborhood, but I’d happily commute to see her once a month. She is very explanatory and educational, sharing steps and counting down all along the way. She makes what could be a painful or annoying experience, educational and as painless as possible. Angie was so nice! It was my first doing a lash/brow tint. I was a little nervous about my lashes since I always hear about irritation, but she was very gentle with in and kept checking in if anything was wrong. My eyebrows also look amazinggg! 💓 I'll definitely be booking with her again soon 😊
