It was lovely to meet Skye while we were visiting Mackay. She gave a lovely curly kids cut to my 11 year old daughter, sharing her knowledge on how to take care of young hair. My daughter is very happy with her new hair.

The best hairdresser in Mackay. I have always struggled with my hair because not a lot of people know how to treat curly hair. My hair feels amazing thank you so much. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. All the staff are lovely best experience I have ever had.

Highly recommend. This was my first time at Avaia Hair, had a style cut from long to a shorter hairstyle by Rochelle who did an absolutely amazing job. Loved the little complimentary welcome shoulder massage too. Will definitely be back.

What an amazing salon! From the moment you walk in the door you can feel such a great vibe! I had a fairly disastrous experience with a salon in Mackay, however Rochelle put me at ease straight away and did an amazing job with my hair! I can't wait for my next appointment!

Sarah Jane did such a beautiful job with my hair! I was nervous to try a new stylist after mine moved salons, but she is so talented and gave me beautiful highlights that are very natural and soft. She was also so warm and welcoming! I definitely recommend her.

My daughter and I loved the Braiding workshop, Sam was very helpful and explained and demonstrated a few techniques in the day. The best part for my daughter was definitely getting braids done by Sam before we left. Would be interested in future school holiday workshops. Thanks Sam :)
