5⭐️➕️, Professional & friendly, Toni knows her stuff. A chat first to check for any specific areas which were causing pain or tightness, how I was managing previous complaints, especially my neck area and back. Toni also checks where I feel I need attention and explains what she is going to do. Today was an overdue (on my part) sports massage with targeted treatment to my legs and then neck and arms. As usual we had a lovely chat. I enjoy finding out about my muscles and body while it gets a well earned manipulation. Toni finishes with advice on what to expect & do after treatment

Toni helped me recover from a shoulder problem I had in thr Spring with a pinched nerve near my neck and painful knot around the scapula area causing spasms and painful tightness all down my right arm. She played a key role in helping me recover recommending physiotherapy for the neck area, ultrasound, which I did with a physio. Recently I enjoyed a deep tissue massage as part of my training regime without any shoulder pain thanks to Toni and her advice and guidance.

I cannot recommend Toni at Essex Sports Massage highly enough! She has been instrumental in helping me recover from a sore bicep and persistent plantar fascia pain. Toni’s knowledge and professionalism were evident from the moment I arrived. She carefully assessed my injuries and tailored the treatment to address both issues effectively. Her techniques not only alleviated the discomfort in my bicep but also significantly reduced the tightness and pain in my foot. This was my first sports massage. Toni talked me through exactly what she was doing, explaining what treatments would help and made me feel very relaxed. She offered to work along side my physio to help my injury get better quicker which is very reassuring. My legs after running the London marathon are so much better. Expert handling of my shoulder nerve pain. Toni explained what she planned to do and why she felt it was best approach asking for my sgreement before proceeding. Toni constantly checked the pain level I was feeling as she gradually manipulated thr muscle to ease the tension and move onto soft tissue massage. Toni also used dry needling on my shoulder and arm followed by more soft tissue massage to encourage the muscles in my shoulder and arm to release tension. Toni has an excellent approach to make you relax. The techniques, equipment used are all checked with you for comfort and pain level.
