In the 3 days leading up to your Hollywood waxing it’s recommended that you avoid doing anything that could irritate your skin: that means no swimming in chlorinated water, keeping your bikini area free from moisturising oils and out of the sun. You should also avoid booking your Hollywood wax within 3 days of your period, due to skin sensitivity.

The hair-free effects of a Hollywood bikini wax should last for 2 weeks. In terms of maintenance, you’ll want to keep your skin smooth, and bump and breakout free, and to do that you’ll need to keep it away from anything that could irritate or infect it. That means no touching your newly waxed skin, staying out of standing water (baths and pools; showers are fine) for 24-48 hours after your treatment, no touching your newly waxed skin, and avoiding heat and sweat (so no full-on exercise, no saunas, and no tanning beds) for 24 hours after your wax.
