This was my second cut with Jen and again a really great experience. She listens to what you want and then gets to work. I've had a number of curly cuts before, often travelling over an hour to qualified stylists, so it's great to finally have somewhere on my doorstep that "gets" curly hair.

Really loved visiting this salon. I've been thinking about going here for a while but it's abit pricey for me but so so worth it! A 2 hour appointment where the staff really understand curly hair. They gave me great advice, the best cut I've had in a long time, a treatment on my hair that has left it feeling and looking the healthiest it's been in a long time. Worth every penny. It's a friendly and welcoming place too. Highly recommend. I will be going back.

My first visit to see what curls I have...and I now know I have plenty!! Very detailed service, talking me through everything that I am going to want/need to do going forward, very friendly and welcoming. Also great to meet new member of staff Hannah who looks set for a great curly-head career... Highly recommend for those who already know they have curls or those, like me are curl-curious.

Price was changed on arrival due to treatment needed, and quite a considerable jump. Could have been discussed on phonecall about sensitivity test to avoid unexpected costs. I had the BEST experience at Head Shed today with Hannah. I had my first ever curly cut, Hannah taught me exactly how to look after my curls and I could not believe the magic she worked with my hair. Parts of my hair that had never held a curl before are now ringlets, I’m so happy! I asked Hannah for a mullet style haircut and she cut it exactly how I wanted, with loads of care and attention. I walked out actually giggling with happiness, I’m so so so happy with my new hair and I will totally be back!! Thanks so much Hannah! 10000/10

Second time I’ve visited head shed and had a curly cut and the best thing I’ve ever done for my curly hair. Shimayne is brilliant, knows her stuff, gives great advice on how to manage and keep the curls at their best between appointments. Lovely new salon in wimborne. The haircut was perfect and a lovely treatment as well. 100% recommend for the curly people - you will not regret it!
