I had the best experience having my first curly cut with Ryan. He really listened to my needs and worries and personalised the cut and treatments to what best suited me and my hair. I couldn't recommend the Head Shed more. Thank you so much - I love my new hair!

Really loved visiting this salon. I've been thinking about going here for a while but it's abit pricey for me but so so worth it! A 2 hour appointment where the staff really understand curly hair. They gave me great advice, the best cut I've had in a long time, a treatment on my hair that has left it feeling and looking the healthiest it's been in a long time. Worth every penny. It's a friendly and welcoming place too. Highly recommend. I will be going back.

Price was changed on arrival due to treatment needed, and quite a considerable jump. Could have been discussed on phonecall about sensitivity test to avoid unexpected costs. Ladies lovely and very knowledgeable about curly hair. Nice latte offered. Hair highlights not as close to scalp as I expected / have had at other salon so

This was my second cut with Jen and again a really great experience. She listens to what you want and then gets to work. I've had a number of curly cuts before, often travelling over an hour to qualified stylists, so it's great to finally have somewhere on my doorstep that "gets" curly hair.

Such an amazing experience and learnt so much. Ryan was very knowledgable and clearly cares about what the customer wants and needs from there curly cut . There is no hard sell to purchase products only recommendations on what can make your hair healthier and make taming your curls more manageable. The products they use are locally sourced, organic and don’t contain any nasties so you really feel like your hair is getting the best treatment. Couldn’t recommend enough!

My 9 year old daughter was so well looked after and given a fabulous treatment, cut and guidance. We really appreciate the advice given, specially around looking after children’s curly hair. Cannot recommend enough.

Second time I’ve visited head shed and had a curly cut and the best thing I’ve ever done for my curly hair. Shimayne is brilliant, knows her stuff, gives great advice on how to manage and keep the curls at their best between appointments. Lovely new salon in wimborne. The haircut was perfect and a lovely treatment as well. 100% recommend for the curly people - you will not regret it!

Head Shed is a must if you are looking for a new hairdresser. Having curly hair and struggling with other hairdressers, I nervously went to Head Shed after seeing recommendations. There was absolutely no need to be nervous! They take their time to ask what you want, and check you are happy, and bespoke treatment for your hair. It has been a few years since I have found someone to do a good curly cut, so much so a friend commented that she has never seen my hair so curly. I am sure if you try them, you won't regret it.

Wow! wow! wow! I have never been SO HAPPY with tears after my haircut. I have been searching for YEARS a curls specialist hairdresser and finally found Jen. Jen was super lovely and amazing! I was worried going in as to how much would be chopped, knowing how my curls bounce up. Few snips and what a massive difference! A good wash, detox and treatment. Being shown how to style it, I was blown away at the volume I had (where I was also worried my hair was thinning). If you are considering Head Shed, Just Do It!
