Perm FAQs

How long does a perm last?

It depends on the length of your hair. Perms on short, frequently cut hair tend to last 3-4 months; perms on longer hair can last 6-8 months.

How do I find hair perm specialists near me?

Use Fresha to browse hair stylists offering perms near you. Filter by location, price and availability to find the right specialist and book instantly.

Can I undo a perm?

Not entirely. The best thing to do is to wait for it to grow out. Frequent micro trims will speed up this process, as can washing it regularly and using a deep conditioning mask to weigh your permed curls down. If you want a more immediate solution, your hairstylist can apply a creme perm to help relax and undo the curls.

Can a perm damage your hair?

If carried out by a professional, a perm should not cause any damage to your hair.

Can I book a hair perm online?

Yes, with Fresha you can book perm appointments online 24/7. Browse salons near you, choose your style and confirm instantly.

Are there hair perm salons open on Sunday near me?

Yes, many hair salons are open on Sundays. Browse Fresha to find perm specialists near you with Sunday availability.

Are there hair perm salons open right now near me?

Use Fresha to find perm specialists available right now. Filter by today's date and time to see live availability and book on the spot.

Book your next perm appointment in Truro with Fresha

When it comes to wellness, Fresha is the new authority. We’re the number one booking site for all things self-care. Simply download our app, or browse our website, searching your area of interest in Truro. Choose the hair salon that caters to your needs, and select the most convenient appointment time. Even better, you can pay securely in advance and get appointment reminders sent straight to your phone. That’s convenience for you.

If your hair looks great with a wave, you could set it in place with a perm. Permanent hair curling treatments are super for adding movement to natural hair. A permanent wave could save you time in the morning, since you can ditch the scrunching and daily styling. It’s a chemical process that re-bonds your hair structure, leaving you with bounce from root to tip. Despite the name, a hair perm should last around 3 to 6 months. So if you’re ready for a change, search perms in Truro on Fresha, and book instantly from £60.

We’re looking at 1 billion Fresha appointments booked so far, worldwide. And thanks to you, we keep getting better. We’d love to hear from you. Send any feedback to hello@fresha.com. Plus, the 450,000 professionals using Fresha played a big part in our success, too. They’re all powering their businesses with our free appointment booking system for salons and clinics. We’re raising the bar for beauty and wellness bookings, not just in Truro, or in the UK. We’re a heavyweight across 120 countries and counting. So find us in town and overseas, with whatever remedy you need.
