Ainur took SUCH great care of me today! I had never been to this salon, but decided to come since I saw great reviews online. I showed Ainur images of what I wanted (icy blonde underlights and a face framing highlight) and she was so open and happy to help me achieve this look! My natural hair color is about a 1B/2N. I also had box dyed the bottom half of my hair blonde. It was uneven and darker than I wanted. Ainur worked on my hair for 5 hours! Carefully checking the bleach and reapplying as needed. Once finished, both other clients at the salon complimented my hair! I couldn't be happier!

I had a great experience from the time I walked in the door. Literally the best my natural hair has ever been treated and I trusted the stylist Leena to cut my hair. She really went in and made sure every strand was attended to. Her hands are blessed lol. 10/10 I will be back. They make the salon experience worth it

I started my journey at Citryne Rose in 2020. I had been referred to her gifted hands years before but it took me a bit to get in her chair. I started out with a blow-dry from Leena (kind, sweet, skilled). My next appointment would be Dastine! I booked a curly cut style. I wavered on if I wanted to “cut my hair short”. I talked myself out of it, but Dastine hyped me up and boosted my confidence to commit to my original request. I can’t thank her enough! The short hair brought back that spark I needed! Fast forward to almost a year later! My hair is healthy yall! Thank you ladies so much!

I went to Giulia to cut, color and style a wig I recently got and wanted it to look as much as my natural hair as possible. Giulia’s cut and gentle color treatment of the wig came out looking much more natural and like my hair than I thought was possible when I initially picked the wig up. The cut is fresh and layered nicely to make it fall naturally. Giulia was also friendly and welcoming, making you feel comfortable in her salon.

I’ve wanted color for months, but I haven’t been able to find a natural hair salon that focused on healthy colorful hair. When my friend pointed me in the direction of Citryne Rose NY i was so excited to schedule my color consultation. Leena made me feel very comfortable in my appointment. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. My appointment started on time which is a huge plus! And my hair was beautiful, healthy, and so well taken care of. Giulia is THE BEST! After I treated my roots with DIY at home and was using a shampoo that ruined the coloring she had done a few months back, she took me in, fixed my own messy doing, and made my hair beautiful, healthy, and gorgeously highlighted and colored. I promised I won't touch it ever again! Also important to mention, her hand is gold. My hair falls a lot due to an underlying medical condition and after the last cut back in Dec 2021, my hair grew quite a lot! She is sweet and very honest. Thanks, Giulia!

I've been going to Giulia since 2016. She made my hair look better than I thought possible. She takes time to understand your needs and is very detail-oriented with cuts and coloring. I’ve been coming to this salon for now 12 years and the only person who I trust my hair with is Sophie. When I first came here my hair was extremely dry and brittle but she changed that by using a really good deep conditioning and when I want to change hair color, which I do with every changing of seasons, Sophie gives me exactly what I want but she will definitely give you her honest opinion if what you want will not be good for you. I trust Sophie 100%.

Hair extensions are strands of real or synthetic hair that are attached to the root of your own hair to give you fuller, longer-looking locks.
The cost depends on the type of hair extensions you choose, but you should expect to pay between $25 and $500.
The longevity of hair extensions depends upon the type you go for. Tape-in hair extensions last between 4-8 weeks; clip-ins can last 6-12 months depending on how well you take care of them; weaves (sew-in extensions) last 6-8 weeks; and both bond extensions and microlinks can last up to 12 weeks. You can extend their lifespan by looking after them correctly, so ask your stylist for advice.
There are five main types of real or synthetic hair extensions:

Clip-in – easy, temporary option that you simply clip onto your own hair.

Tape – strands of hair which are taped or glued to the roots of your natural hair.

Bonds – thin strands that are glued to your natural hair using heated keratin.
