It was lovely to meet Skye while we were visiting Mackay. She gave a lovely curly kids cut to my 11 year old daughter, sharing her knowledge on how to take care of young hair. My daughter is very happy with her new hair.

The best hairdresser in Mackay. I have always struggled with my hair because not a lot of people know how to treat curly hair. My hair feels amazing thank you so much. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. All the staff are lovely best experience I have ever had.

Highly recommend. This was my first time at Avaia Hair, had a style cut from long to a shorter hairstyle by Rochelle who did an absolutely amazing job. Loved the little complimentary welcome shoulder massage too. Will definitely be back.

I love my pixie cut that Alanna at Avaia Hair does for me. She is a precision stylist, and I am always happy with the result. Avaia goes the extra distance, right from the get-go with a relaxing neck massage at the start of your appointment. If you haven't tried Avaia Hair, give them a call. You won't regret it. I always look forward to my visits - from the time I sit down and receive my aromatic neck massage, to the shampoo and condition and head massage, and finally the cut and style from Alanna. The salon has a lovely ambience which allows me to relax and enjoy being pampered whilst I am there.

I had another great experience at Avaia today. Firstly, I was seated and offered refreshments. This was followed by a beautiful neck massage, which was so relaxing! Then I had my actual appointment with Alanna, who provided an amazing head massage whilst shampooing and conditioning my hair. Her precision and attention to detail with my pixie cut was brilliant. I will be visiting Avaia each month for a refresh.

Lovely spacious salon, some really nice touches a wee neck massage just putting cape on. Hair wash station great with massage chairs. Alana was awesome, did a great cut. Looking forward to going back for some specialised curly treatment!

Wonderful experience every time I go! They have made such a delightful space of relaxation and happiness. So much to learn with the staff being both so knowledgeable and helpful. I go for my curly hair treatments and in-depth, targeting massages. They sell OCosmedics which I love, and so many different curly hair products for different types of hair! 🙂

Great atmosphere, great to hear everyone chatting and having fun. Really got pampered Head massage was amazing, just needed a blanket after it for a nap lol. Hey there! I had an amazing experience at the salon today. The girls there are super friendly, especially Sky, my stylist. I showed her a pic of the hairstyle I wanted, and she totally nailed it! I feel like I've turned back time by ten years! She also gave me some great tips on how to care for my curly hair and how to style it after chemo. And to top it all off, Emma gave me an incredible massage. Her hands are magic! Big thanks to these ladies for making my day!🌻🙏
