Cut and colour by Ellie always top quality. However I need to mention this time, the lack of cleanliness on the female side of the salon. Nothing to do with Ellie. I did mention to her. Noticeable hairs, lots of them on the chairs, wrapped round the feet of the chairs, on the mirrors, footplates and skirting under the mirrors. Was really unpleasant to see. I've read that Lancaster City Council intend to inspect barbers and hairdressers. They put a post on Facebook to say this and said all chairs etc should be cleaned hygienically after each customer. The whole place is a bit shabby 😒

Fantastic facials as always by Katie, she’s good at her craft! I only have the half an hour gel mask facial as I’m not fond of being faffed with for any longer! Katie gauges the mood, and sometimes in quiet moments personally is an absolute.y relaxing lovely facial with lovely smelling products and a great touch from Katie. I highly recommend her.

I recently had a Pro Peel Dermalogica facial by Iram who is very knowledgeable, and it was such a great experience. My skin felt instantly smoother, brighter, and genuinely refreshed. The treatment was comfortable throughout, and the results were noticeable straight away. I left feeling pampered and confident. I’d definitely recommend this facial to anyone looking to give their skin a real boost.

Luxurious Acti-derm facial with a 24c gold mask, just had the most amazing, relaxing treatment from Ru, thank you it was well needed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sammy gave my skin a much needed HydraFacial. I can’t remember all the many steps involved with this facial but essentially my skin was cleansed, dirt extracted from the pores, and hydrating products infused into my skin. I have sensitive skin and afterwards my face was red but it had a lovely sheen and certainly felt tighter and smoother. I look forward to seeing the results develop over the next few days. Although it is not wholly a ‘relaxing’ treatment, (given that it does provide different benefits than a standard facial), I will be having another. It’s like a non-surgical face lift!

A new experience having the microdermabrasion facial with Tracey. I liked having the procedure explained. This is, as Tracey advised, a cleansing and cleaning facial. The cold mask went on covering my face, eyes and mouth (although the last 2 coverings are optional). Whilst the mask was on doing it's magic, Tracey massaged my arms and hands. All a very nice experience. And my skin looked fab and felt tauter afterwards. Thank you.

I had a new hydro facial today with Katie after a friend recommended her to me. I rarely have facials as I don’t like being faffed with (don’t judge me!) This was a perfect 30 minute acid serum treatment for my 57 year old face which can be a course of 3 or 6. I’ve already booked in for another two so far. Absolutely brilliant facial treatment from Katie, who clearly knows her stuff and is very professional and also very friendly. A great little find in my opinion, I most definitely recommend this lovely independent salon

The most amazing facial ever had! I let Sammy choose as I explained my skin issues and recent changes. She recommended the Cinderella facial (named for an amazing for a night out at a ball! or special event) First a lovely cleanse, really expertly done. Then a facial massage and this was the last where I was in heaven! I have a lot of pain and tension due to suffering from TMJ disorder and have partial lockjaw and her massage was in all the places and just the right pressure to ease all of the tension. After the facial I looked at my skin and it was so luminous & hydrated! Thank you

My first visit to Crystal Clear. Had a much needed Back & Shoulder massage, followed by Indian Head massage and a fabulous facial (I fell asleep lol) Ru couldn’t be more lovely and I really appreciated her experienced, holistic approach to therapy. Been to Sammy's a few times for treatments and her facials are the best there is! I suffer with TMJ disorder, incl an operation which didn't help, and have to take daiky painkillers. When I visit Sammy for her facials, she's so good at what she does, I feel so well and don't need painkillers for weeks. I leave really happy and I swear she takes 10yrs off my face.
