How long does electrolysis take?

A typical session lasts between 15-60 minutes, but the length of time depends on whether the hair is coarse, in-grown or has deeper follicles. Is electrolysis painful?

Yes, particularly if you’re having your upper lip, neck or pelvic area done. You’re likely to feel a stinging sensation or pinch of heat from the electrolysis probe, but the level of pain depends on your pain threshold.

Can electrolysis be done on any part of the body?

How do you care for your skin after electrolysis?

You should also avoid the sun, swimming pools, rubbing, scratching and over-touching the treated area immediately after the treatment, and steer clear of make-up, exercise, alcohol-based skin products, and waxing, too.
