Michael is absolutely amazing! After losing my beloved stylist of 20 years—who set an incredibly high bar—I spent a long time searching for someone who could truly deliver. I tried several stylists in Charlotte, but it was always a compromise: some could handle color but not cuts, and vice versa. Then I found Michael. He’s meticulous with both cut and color, and he’s completely earned my trust. For the first time in a long time, I genuinely love my hair again. On top of his talent, he’s a total delight—fun, kind, and easy to talk to. I can’t recommend him enough!

Darlene is my Girl. She gets me together every time.. If you are looking for someone you can trust with your hair she is the person. She has been doing my hair since I was 12 years old and has never failed me.

Beautifully inviting salon; the changing room has the most glorious artwork on the walls. From the friendly hello to Jessica’s skilled handiwork, my haircut and blowout was a delightful experience.

Maddie was great and gave me exactly what I wanted and needed! She was also sweet and gave me advise on drying and styling and answered all my questions

My first visit to Fern & Ivy. It's a lovely salon, the staff were very accommodating and the facility was clean and neat. Michael obviously knows what he's doing. Even still he listened to all my hair issues and considered all I told him when cutting and styling. He did excellent work. Highly recommend.
