I’ve been to La Vie Beauty Bar three times now, and every single visit has been amazing! I’ve had my lashes, mani and pedi done, and the service has been consistently 10/10. Firstly the environment is quaint, clean and calm and a great way to lay back on the comfy chair propped with pillows and blankets whilst having a pedi. It’s never cold inside. Stacey is one of a kind - her service is exceptional in many ways. I like that she is a perfectionist and that she suggests what type of a fill to better suit my hands (as an example). I appreciate that. Ella and Stacey, thank you for a great time!

Good day. Lovely home based salon. Very friendly staff. Only one small comment, the pedicure chairs are too high compared with the basin. It's not possible to sit right back and relax unfortunately.

I had a spectacular 60-minute Swedish massage and can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The space is warm, peaceful and wonderfully relaxing with soothing music, the gentle sound of trickling water, a cozy heater and an electric blanket that was perfect for a chilly Cape Town winter's day. The massage was exceptional, with just the right amount of pressure throughout. Professional, respectful and highly skilled, David created an environment where I felt completely comfortable, respected and cared for. Can't wait for my next appointment!

This was my second visit to The Skin Spot, and once again, Lisa was amazing! I've had many massages over the years, both good and bad, but this one was truly memorable. I booked the Full Body Restore massage, and it was incredibly gentle, calming, and relaxing. I loved the flow of the treatment, and my favorite part was the extra care she gave to my abdomen and waist—I didn't realize how much those areas needed attention. Every woman carrying stress and tension deserves to experience this. Highly recommended!

David’s arguably the best masseuse I’ve seen in CT. I’d recently moved & tried to find an alternative for VTS, but they’ve fallen short. Today, a bunch of knots were worked out, and the back & shoulder pain, and hamstring & calf tightness had started to feel debilitating. I feel like a person for the first time in a while - thank you 💕 You have been worth the visit every single time. Plus you have candles now! Congrats on the wheels as well 🧚🏽
