I felt looked after, dignified, and relaxed at my first ever massage. I was experiencing neck pain as a result of sitting at a computer for work all week. My mum kindly gifted me an aromatherapy session. I talked to the therapist during the session when I wanted to ask questions about the treatment, and stayed quiet when I wanted to sink into the treatment. The therapist respected that, and was totally in tune. The therapist and I both noticed when I was more tense, which made me feel connected to my body. When the treatment was finished, I felt lighter. Can’t wait to book the next session.

This week, I have seen Sophie Burch for therapy, Ulli Mattsson for osteopathy and Sophie Higgins for nutritional therapy. I might as well move in! It feels as though I am being nurtured in the heart of a loving, passionate, professional, deeply caring family. Such inspiring, wonderful women. I feel so very lucky to have found this superlative, holistic wellness centre.

I went to Sandra for a seated aromatherapy back massage followed by a 10 minute add on relaxation with guided meditation. Sandra was excellent, she made me feel so at ease with her friendly but professional manner. I was so relaxed that when I got home I had a nap. I also went home with a bottle of the oil Sandra had used and mixed just for me. The treatment room has been decorated in a very naturalistic way, it felt cocooning and relaxing just being in there. I highly recommend Sandra and I personally will be back again.

Ten sessions of conventional therapy led to one break through... Melanie has a new revelation for me every week! She is absolutely worth her weight in gold, and creates a space I feel free to share and discuss baby loss, PTSD, and infertility thoughts and TCM in. This was my first visit to The Recovery Well and it was beautiful. I had an aromatherapy facial, which was fantastic. Everything about it was very professional and the treatment room was so relaxing I could have stayed there for a couple more hours! I rebooked for my next appointment on my way out.
