Best haircut I've ever gotten! Mars was very gentle and accommodating as a stylist. They very effectively explained what they'd be doing at each step of the process and also provided valuable tips for in-home styling, as well as recommendations for products and tools necessary for my cut and texture. I also enjoyed the quiet ambiance and view of the bay; this was definitely a "boutique salon" experience and I am looking forward to my next appointment.

Getting a haircut used to be such an anxious experience until I started going to Sodada Salon. My head basically has 3 different hair types from front to back, ranging from super fine and curly to thick and wavey. Solange caters to every single strand. She cuts my hair dry, and will always offer to make alterations before I walk out the door to make sure I'm getting exactly what I wanted. She asks questions about your hair routine so that she can handle your hair exactly as you would at home, guaranteeing that your new style isn't going to only look salon-perfect that day, but every day!

I had a wonderful experience with Alana. She took the time to hear out what I want with my hair and talked me through everything. She made sure I could repeat the routine she did at home. She creates a very warm and inclusive environment that makes you feel safe and comfortable. I love how my hair turned out, it’s exactly what I wanted!

Going to Sodada is always a great experience from the moment I walk in and am greeted by Waffles (resident doggo). Solange teaches me something new every time from product application to the science of hair strands and why good, natural products matter. I usually come in with pictures but know it’s not always exactly what i want, but explain my vision to Solange and she makes it happen! I always walk out with the hair of my dreams! She always checks up afterward too to make sure you’re a happy customer. Going to Sodada is always worth it.

I’ve never cared to have the same hairstylist…until I met Alana! Wow what a difference it makes. Every time I leave her studio, I feel renewed. She has such a gift for taking intentions & feels and manifesting it through your hair. Now that I’ve been going to her for almost 2 years, she knows my hair so well and always cuts it perfectly! I trust her immensely and allow her to cut my hair in ways that I would not trust others. I used to think “a hair cut is just a haircut” but going to Alana has proven this to be wrong. She is the best best best and highly recommend!

Everyone needs a Solange in their life. As a hair stylist, artist, and amazing company, she is really just so wonderful. I wound up butchering my own hair and she completely made a whole new masterpiece out of it while having a wholesome as heck conversation with me about life lessons and growing from them. I came in there a guilty sad mess and I walked out a whole new confident and fierce self. She is just amazing at what she does, and her rawness and authenticity is so wonderful. What I really appreciate is that she doesn’t try to upsell or pressure me into buying service “add-ons” and explains the value of each service so well.
