From the warm welcome when I stepped in through the salon door to my departure, everything was spot on! Anna listened and delivered exactly what I asked for. She made me feel relaxed, and I felt safe in her hands from the start. I walked in with straight long hair with ratty ends, and walked out with the correct length taken off and beautiful bouncing curls, and hair that shined and felt wonderful. Anna was super friendly with a conversation that flowed naturally.

I had an amazing first appointment with Helen. She is very skilled, listening to your preference and talking you through every step of your hair transition. Such an interesting compassionate lady and my appointment flew past. I am absolutely delighted with my hair and despite bleaching and toning, I left with my hair in amazing condition. I can not recommend Helen and the salon highly enough. The other members of the team are also lovely and it makes for a great hair experience. Finally a special shout out to the adorable Len.....

I had a balayage done by Lucia, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Lucia did an absolutely amazing job—my hair looks so natural and beautifully blended. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and made sure everything was perfect. The whole salon had such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and everyone there was so lovely. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Ali is a miracle worker, very friendly and professional. Talked me through the process and aftercare of extensions. All the staff in the salon were friendly, lovely atmosphere. Ali has done an incredible job with my hair and would recommend to anyone!

Great experience at SY1 Hair. Beth was very lovely and friendly and made me feel relaxed and comfortable straight away. There was a diverse range of clients in the salon which was really lovely to see, everyone was chatty and friendly it was a really lovely atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend!

I always enjoy my appointments with Alli. She is very creative and enjoys trying new styles for me. My haircuts are often admired by friends and I never hesitate to recommend Darwin Barbers. The salon is also very affordable.

Lovely experience with a very caring and professional stylist Hannah. I have several issues with hair loss and can feel overwhelmed in busy impersonal salons. Hannah took her time, made realistic suggestions and was extremely helpful. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this salon.
