I’ve only been to visit Lewis twice, but both times he’s been amazing. I’ve only had a wash, cut, and blow dry, but I’ve never been so happy with the experience and results. My recent visit (Yesterday) was amazing. I booked the appointment as I’m back in the UK visiting family and trust him to cut and style my hair how he feels best suits me as I’m a very indecisive person. He even went out of the way to see if any previous clients have any salon recommendations for where I live in the US. He’s so lovely and always chatting, making the experience even better, every time.

Both my boys had their hair cut by Lewis - they have different personalities and face shape and Lewis gave them their own style that suited them whilst still being school friendly . He is so patient with children and is kind and chatted to them . They love seeing him and he is just the most perfect hairdresser/ stylist .

An outstanding experience - I have been having my hair cut , coloured and styled by Lewis for years and it doesn’t matter whether I am in the mood for keeping my style familiar or going for a complete change or new look Lewis knows exactly what I am after and executes everything to perfection . I often go in feeling flat and out of sorts with work stress and he just creates such a lovely , relaxing welcoming atmosphere that I feel so much better - his work always leaves me feeling beautiful. Would not ever consider going to anyone else … ever ….

Josh was so amazing! I had thick heavy hair and told him what vision I had in mind and he made it come to life. He took out the weight of my hair and gave nice layers and explained the whole process. He catered the vision to my specific hair type and it’s clear he is very knowledgeable in what he does! He is truly an artist. I cannot recommend him enough!

Every visit to see Lewis has been perfect. He cut both my sons' hair today and they have polar opposite personalities and styles. Lewis is very intuitive to what hair cuts and styles suit different people and knew exactly how they wanted their hair to look . Lewis is patient, kind and both my children felt happy and well looked after with him. I wouldn't dream of taking them to see anyone else and can imagine Lewis being very much a part of their haircut journey through their childhood , teens and even young adulthood. And what a soothing, comforting environment to be in too.

Josh worked a miracle today, and sorted out my hair! It was a relaxing experience and I would recommend this salon to anyone!

Lovely experience, I had a curly cut and finish with Josh. He took time to explain everything he was doing and why, and gave me lots of great tips on how to care for my curly hair. I find it quite stressful going to salons and having my hair done, but Josh was very relaxed and had the same effect on me. I’ll definitely be back! 🥰

It was my first time getting my hair done at The Good Part, and being someone who has a hard time trusting someone with their hair… it’s safe to say I felt completely at ease the second I walked into the salon. Lewis was amazing from start to finish, the salons decor was gorgeous and it was just such a nice relaxing experience throughout. The Good Part is definitely my new favourite salon, and I cannot wait to visit again.

I first visited Lewis after a bad experience elsewhere, I was very nervous to try somewhere new. Lewis did exactly what I asked for and continues to do so Everytime I visit. Would highly recommend Lewis as a hairdresser but he’s also really lovely too and the salon is such a nice space to have a pamper ☺️
