Tara was lovely and kind, and really took the time to listen and get a feel for my hair before starting work. I'm always very anxious seeing someone new, but she put me completely at my ease, and was happy with the fact that I'm a low maintenance girl. (Note to anyone reading this, always be honest with your hairdresser!) She understood that I wanted to keep my long hair, and trimmed it into a very flattering style. The atmosphere is always so warm, relaxed, welcoming and friendly. And the hair cuts are great! I have always felt out of place in 'hair salons', but I have longer hair and didn't feel like I could go to a barber's either. But I feel really comfortable and good at Roots. They have created a truly accepting and inclusive space without making a big thing of it. It's just normal. And thank you Luke for the years of great haircuts!
