Walking through the door and being excitedly greeted by the salon dog (just adorable), the decor and ambiance (felt right at home) and the energy from the staff (welcoming, friendly and so good looking!) 10/10 and I haven’t even mentioned Hayley who did my hair yet! What I like about the hairdresser in this salon is how they discuss and confer with each other about the best way to get the results the customer after. They are extremely upfront about what is possible to achieve and what is not. When they provide their advice they are very mindful of the condition of the hair, as they want this to remain as healthy as possible.

Salon is lovely, clean and relaxing. After a busy morning it was nice to just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. Jess is super accommodating and friendly. Romeo the Frenchie is an added bonus to the welcome you receive when entering the salon. Will definitely be returning!! Thank you for the amazing keratin treatment, hair is so silky and shiny and OMG so long.

My son had a wonderful haircut here and would highly recommend this hairdressing salon as we will definitely be coming back here next time. They have a great set up for kids with a lightning McQueen car to sit in and a small tv to watch tv on as well as little toys to play with if there are siblings present too.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars absolutely would. I want to say it was aweful, so I can always get a booking, but the salon, staff, the hair style and color was so amazing. Great vibe, vision, knowledge and results. 10 stars for sure.

I am so happy to have found Hairdressers at Work! Antonella knows curly hair so well and how to work with the curls to create a beautiful style. She also has a great eye for colour and knowing how to colour to suit the curls. She was able to envisage what I wanted and come up with the plan to create it. I walked out so happy with my new curly hair!!!!

After eleven years searching for a hairdresser who understands fine, thin hair and the style that is sophisticated but easy to manage I found her in Lexie. And I look about twenty years younger. Lexie has very special talents in colouring and styling. As an extra bonus the two other hairdressers in this exquisite salon with ultra comfortable chairs also styled their client's hair to perfection. I'm chuffed and excited to be me again Thank you Lexie.

It wasn't just a haircut it was a hair experience I got Norman's salon recommended by my husband. He was there a week before and spent the whole weekend talking about his haircut, which is not just a haircut but a hair experience with everything you imagine as a European. Today I was there I spent an hour and a half there just for washing, hair treatment, haircut, dry blow and styling. It was a great experience and result. Absolutely amazing experience! Was welcomed into the salon, asked what I wanted with my hair, got a thorough explanation of what the expert thought would work and how we could make the two merge. Explanation on how to manage my new cut and my hair in general. Lovely ambience, lovely staff, all around fantastic experience!

Andy was fabulous! He is definitely the best hairdresser in Cairns. He has experience working in Sydney so imagine his expertise. He was thorough and listened to my concerns. I’m so glad to have found Andy after a lengthy search. I tried several salons and they all did an average job. If you want someone that can style hair then try Andy!! Thank goodness 😅 finally I found the right hairdresser!!!
