Today, I had my hair cut at Gould Barbers by an apprentice, and the experience was fantastic. Despite being a trainee, the apprentice, with a few helpful tips from the staff, delivered a superb haircut. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Even though the haircut was free, I was so impressed that I gave the apprentice a generous tip. When I got home, I received many compliments on how nice my hair looked. Gould Barbers has truly earned my highest recommendation for their excellent service and skilled training. I'll definitely be returning for future haircuts.

Had a dodgy haircut at a different barbershop a few years ago so I must say I was dubious going somewhere I wouldn't normally go however, I am so glad I did. The barber was fantastic and I came out with a great cut. Sorry I only had a tenner on me as the cut was professional. The only thing I will say is I wasn't a fan of the spinning chair 🤣 however all in all a great cut and great service. Thank you so much. Best of luck with finishing your course. P.s. it's great that your boss is strict. She's getting the best out of you and as a client I can see that.

I hadn't been in to Gould Barbers Newbury for a while, but when I visited today Lita remembered my name, my daughter's name, my favourite TV shows etc. She actually cares about her repeat customers and takes a genuine interest in them. Today I got another great haircut from Lita, and whilst cutting my hair she was supervising an apprentice ensuring that they gave their client a haircut that matched her high standards. Just went in for a quick fringe trim inbetween my haircut with Ollie . As always made to feel very special such a friendly atmosphere ! And Ollie is the best hairdresser i have ever had. And Lauren does my colour so well listens to everything you say. Cant reccomend the salon enough
