I’ve been getting my hair cut by Dimitrios for two years now, and today reminded me why I keep coming back. He walked me through my head shape and explained exactly why the cut works for me. That level of detail, skill and intention is rare. His creativity, professionalism and consistency make him one of the best barbers in Toronto, if not the best. Every visit is an enjoyable experience, and I always leave feeling confident and taken care of. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Dylan! My hair was in the worst, over-processed state that it had been in decades, as I recently left my stylist back home to come to Toronto. Dylan took the time to talk to me, thoroughly assess the damage, discuss options, but also was willing to let me make the decision. As I’ve been coloring my hair for decades, I knew I needed to listen to him and it turned out so lovely! He also taught me how to use a product (that he’s doesn’t sell) to help repair. And the blow-out was so good! His building is undergoing some issues but don’t let that dissuade you! 👍👍

It takes a lot for me to switch barbers since I’m definitely not someone who barber hops, but I’m really glad I made the move to Aryan. After just a couple visits he already had my usual beard and fade touch-up dialed in, which makes my weekly appointments quick and easy. He’s always on time, easy to work with, and has been great about fitting me in when my schedule gets tight. The shop is also clean, quiet, and professional with a great lineup of products. Looking forward to sticking with Aryan as my barber for the long run. 💈

The staff is kind and welcoming. Especially our hair stylist, One, is not only competent and skilled, but also helps the customer feel at ease. Ellie did an absolutely fabulous job with my haircut! I also added the scalp massage treatment, and it was such a worthwhile experience. She carefully assessed the condition of my scalp, explained what she noticed, and recommended products to help keep my hair and scalp healthy. The haircut and styling turned out exactly how I envisioned, if not even better. Ellie is incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and made the entire appointment so relaxing and enjoyable. I'd go to the moon if that's where Ellen set up shop, thankfully, The Borough Project is right here in Toronto, close to bellwoods! Easily the best barbershop I've ever been to in my entire life, and yet, it's so much more than a barbershop. It's like stepping into an old friend's living room. Ellen and Rui have done an exceptional job at creating a cozy and beautiful space with an inclusive environment and vibe. Can't wait for my next cut :)

Ellie was amazing! I booked last minute as I wanted a trim and I walked in with no reference pictures or any idea what I wanted. They were patient and recommended me something that would suit me and I am very happy with the results! She was gentle and precise with the cut and the wash was very relaxing. She gives great massages and I will definitely return to Ellie for future haircuts💕
