Absolutely blown away by my experience at Fatty Arbuckles in East Perth! David is the man. Not only did I get an awesome haircut, but the whole vibe was incredibly chilled and relaxing. It's the perfect place to unwind. David took his time, was super friendly, and delivered a seriously great cut. Best in Perth! Five stars all the way

Had a blow wave with Kate who did a very thorough job especially with my frizzy / curly hair. She was super friendly and made the experience enjoyable - something I haven't had since trying to find a Perth hairdresser after moving here 2 years ago (and I have tried many salons in my search and none have come close)! Am officially transitioning to Kate and will come back when my colour is next due.

I got a haircut from Reza today, and I couldn't be happier with the result! He took one look at the hairstyle photo I showed him and executed it perfectly. The vibe in the shop was great, easy to listen to music and well curated decoration. The air was easy and pleasant. Méll knew exactly what to do with my requests and gave me the exact haircut that I imagined all while having a lovely easy chat. There was a good balance of silence and talking that felt very welcoming. This was my first time here and my first time buying a “higher end haircut” ($65) and I don’t regret it at all. There is no irritation on my skin, my hair looks great however it falls and with or without product. I highly recommend Sloans and Méll. I’ll be back for my next haircut

I was lucky enough to have my hair done by the talented Mel. What can I say except that you can go there with your eyes closed? I would recommend her 100 times over. I went to this salon to get my hair cut very short for the first time in my life. She was incredibly attentive and at least as excited as I was about this change. The atmosphere was great, and it was a wonderful experience. I loved it, and I've rarely been so happy with a haircut. Thanks again to this amazing hairdresser for making me look so beautiful today!

Mel at Fatty’s is brilliant. Moving to Perth I needed to find a replacement for my great queer friendly hairdresser. I tried 3 others before discovering Mel. Im VERY particular about my wavy hair. Mel gives me an excellent haircut and I thoroughly enjoy hanging out with her while I get my hairs snipped. Fatty’s is a lovely and welcoming space. Thoroughly recommend.

Been coming to see Mel the Amazing at Fattys for the five years I have lived in Perth. Mel’s creative and technical skills are of the highest quality. She also does great mirror chat. The salon is very friendly, inclusive and professional. Couldn’t recommend Mel specifically and the business generally. Love them. Mandy
