makayla was great! strong, intuitive hands. the ‘aroma’ in aromatherapy was extremely faint. (almost non-existent). providing treatments in basement rooms, the scent should overshadow the smell of damp and spa. upon leaving my skin, while soft, smells like nothing…disappointing.

We had a fabulous half day at the spa. The deal included a lovely two course lunch and one treatment each. The spa is in a lovely cool basement which was a perfect retreat on a very hot day. The two facials were fabulous. We left very relaxed having finished our trip with some time in the relaxation room. Peterstone court is a lovely place in beautiful surroundings.

Lovely relaxing morning at the spa yesterday. Treatments were enjoyable and think its excellent that the spa was restricted to just us for the time we were there. Also felt the facilities and staff in the hotel were friendly and very good. Will definitely be back and have all ready recommended it to friends. Nicky

Really good massage and facial with Leah. Our spa day was lovely, had the place to ourselves, delicious lunch, beautiful location with stunning gardens cascading down to the river and views over the Brecon Beacons.

The spa was lovely as always, a great welcome, and the treatments were excellent. Super relaxing. The lunch options included in the spa day booking were disappointing though, the menu options having been cut right back to one starter option (soup on a 27° day) and three sandwich options for main course. Much less appealing than the menu available when I've visited previously, and felt like a real cut back.

Although they massaged arms legs and back and shoulders separately my favourite bit was neck back and shoulders. I could feel the tension in my shoulders. But the massaging of it was great.
