The best hairdresser in Mackay. I have always struggled with my hair because not a lot of people know how to treat curly hair. My hair feels amazing thank you so much. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. All the staff are lovely best experience I have ever had.

Rochelle is both kind and warm, the whole experience was calming and I love how my hair turned out! Most importantly, she was sympathetic and supportive regarding my hair loss and made sure I walked out feeling confident!

I had another great experience at Avaia today. Firstly, I was seated and offered refreshments. This was followed by a beautiful neck massage, which was so relaxing! Then I had my actual appointment with Alanna, who provided an amazing head massage whilst shampooing and conditioning my hair. Her precision and attention to detail with my pixie cut was brilliant. I will be visiting Avaia each month for a refresh.

Wow! What an amazing experience with Joh!! I have 3b curly, thick & unruly hair that was mid-back length & I was over it! Joh was nothing but amazing. I showed Joh a picture of what I wanted & I walked out a brand new person with a stunning hair cut. Thank you Joh, truly. It's the best hair cut I've ever had in my life. I can't recommend Avaia Hair and Joh highly enough. Book an appointment, you won't be disappointed, 10/10.

Avaia Hair is my happy place. All the ladies here are lovely. My hair feels so soft and looks amazing after each visit. Overall, I’d say there is no salon in Mackay that comes close.
