Samantha is the owner of Sugr Sugr. I visited her today at the Merivale location for a full Brazilian sugar wax, and she was great. My first visit was a great experience, but it was my first time, so it did hurt a bit. However, I had an acceptable pain tolerance during the service. With the mask on afterward, it had a cooling sensation, which felt nice. She is nice, kind, and caring towards her clients (e.g., asking me if I am doing okay during and after the service). I will come back to see her for her waxing or sugar services at either this location or her Westboro location.

The best nail salon in Ottawa. Literally, every single technician working there knows what there are doing and are extremely skilled and professional. I’ve been getting back to back acrylic sets from them, and they have never dissapointer. Much love to the whole team :)

Briar is the best! My skin feels so clean and refreshed after my visit. She did a full consult and tailored my service to my skins needs. Her space is cozy and clean and she gives a great massage. Will be back!

I had an appointment with Lynn and I liked that she took her time with me and was compassionate. I will be going back again to be pampered. I did have a lash curl and I guess I had high expectations and my lashes were not enough to get a decent curl. Lynn did say it looked a bit different and mascara will show the curl. I went in with the thought that it would show a but more and would not require mascara. I'm sure she did her best and perhaps I'll have a different method next time. Otherwise she has done a wonderful job and took her time with me.

I went for the elevated facial. It was one of the best facials I’ve ever had in my life. I walked out of the session rejuvenated and glowing!! I also love how she recommends you products based on your skincare products and she doesn’t hard sell. Very pleasant and great experience, definitely coming back.

This is the best waxing place in Ottawa! It was my first time for a Brazilian bikini wax, and the experience was exceptional, quick also. I will go back and recommend 100%.

My experience with Trulyglowskin was by far the best waxing experience I have ever had! Ingrid is an aspiring young business owner…She is very professional and clean in the work she does. She is also certified and knows exactly what she is doing. She makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Ingrid also makes and sells her own body scrub which smells heavenly! Trulyglowskin is the only place I am going to for waxing from now on and I recommend everyone to schedule an appointment with Ingrid, especially if it is your first time getting waxed. Staff were amazing! From the moment I walked in, everyone's was friendly, professional and quick! The vibes in the salon are very "Women's Power" vibe which was beautiful and welcoming. When getting the actual wax done, the waxer made sure I was well engaged in conversation to ignore the pain- (or in the case, lack there of!!!) this was my first treatment where it was completely painless.
