I love HBL. For the past 3 years, I drive an hour every 4 months for my favorite spa package. My only feedback is that I wish they would do better with communicating when equipment that will affect my service is down. For example, there was a period a while back when the sauna was out of service, but I wasn't informed until I was taken to the back. Today the face steamer was out of service but I wasn't informed until after my service when I asked why it wasn't used. As these are a part of my package, I always look forward to them, or would least like to be made aware before arriving.

For my birthday I decided to book the spa package that included an infrared sauna session, body scrub, facial and massage. It was wonderful. The staff is really kind and welcoming. The salon has a very relaxing vibe and it is kept extremely clean. This is my second spa service here and I will be back.

I look forward to going to Health and Beauty for Life. The staff adhere to CDC and state standards to ensure the facility is safe and comfortable. The Spa packages are reasonably priced. Carla, Elizabeth and the Receptionist are professional, respectful and kind. I will continue to recommend the Health and Beauty for Life Spa.

The deep tissue massage is so focused on my specific needs, and as someone with auto-immune concerns, this is a huge deal. Good space, quiet, really lovely staff. Looked for the right massage place for a long time before I found this one, and it's the perfect fit for me.

Karla is great! I have been getting massages from her for years now and my back always feels great afterwards. She always asks which areas I have the most pain in and makes sure she tends to my preferences. I also got prenatal massages from her during my pregnancy and she always took care of me and made sure I was comfortable. The spa is clean and the ambiance is calming. I would def recommend her and the Alexandria location.

Karla is an amazing massage therapist. She’s very well trained to understand and work inflammation areas in addition to giving great overall massages. Her spa is clean and nicely equipped. She’s also a therapist to personal trainers which is a real tribute to her skills.

I have been going to this spa for 15 years and have NEVER gotten a bad treatment. If the great composer, Ludwig Van Beethoven had ever gotten a massage from Karla, he'd have gone straight home and written a sonata in her honor!!

Absolutely the best spa in the area.

The therapists at this spa are exceptional professionals who treat their customers like members of their own families. H&B can be like a home away from home for anyone seeking relief from pain and stress.
