I go to Jade on Danforth regularly for eyebrow threading. They're one of the only salons that do this - and they do it perfectly! The atmosphere inside is also so much nicer than most places, and no harsh chemical smells. I also told them about my favourite colour of nail polish that I've been looking for for ages, but has been discontinued in Canada. And they offered to order it for me!

My family had a wonderful manicure experience at Velvet! Kid-friendly, feels comfortable. Four staff members worked on us at the same time, which made the whole visit smooth. Kim is definitely a star!

We are in Toronto on vacation and visited Beauticare nails twice and both times they were great . The team are friendly and dedicated and my feet feel fantastic with all the hard skin gone and the nails look clean and perfectly shaped. I highly recommend but remember to book online as always busy which is another great sign.

I love this place - I recently moved to Toronto from the UK & was in need of a good local nail tech & had no idea where to look. I went to Sugar Nails on the off chance that they had someone free to do my nails & the lady at the desk was so friendly! My nail tech (Mia) was amazing & did my nails so well! I’m so glad I found this place!

The actual appointment was great - no complaints at all. Nice place, friendly staff, cute dog. The weird thing is, I got a shellac manicure and four days later four of my nails have chipped polish. I haven’t done anything different so I don’t know why this happened. Hopefully it was just the polish that maybe was off. I enjoyed my experience though.

Julie is the best! She is an artist with nail design and takes time and care to do the manicures. The salon is so beautiful, clean and modern and everyone there is so sweet. I’m always offered tea or coffee and the staff there make you feel comfortable and pampered!

My appointment today was wonderful, I suggested to Annie that I wanted cateye technique. I mentioned about a video I saw where a nail technician twisted paperclip and with the magnet created a heart shape. Annie showed me the one she'd made so she could do that for me. It's just what I wanted and I love it. I always get compliments on my nails as I'm a regular at Beauticure Nails at Eglinton. As Jessica, my amazing regular nail technician is on vacation Annie stepped in to do my nail fill also. Annie has done a wide variety of nail art and cateye technique for me so I was in great hands. 🥰🤗

I finally feel like I found a place where paying attention to details actually means paying attention to details. The nail dust vent, comfortable hand rests, and phone stands made such a difference. I’d wear a sweater next time if seated near the door since it was a bit cold, but that’s minor. I love my manicure and fresh gel extensions—short, square, plain black. Perfect shape, clean work, no mistakes. The projector with shows and movies across the wall adds a luxurious, relaxing feel. Just missing the coffee ☕️ I’ll definitely be back! 💅✨

I’ve been getting my manicures at Velvet Beauty by Kay for a year and they are consistently beautiful and durable! They recently started offering massages and Kim gives a great shoulder massage!

Ri was absolutely excellent - very careful and precise with my manicure - my nails were not in great shape and she made them look absolutely beautiful. Ri was extremely pleasant and friendly and takes pride in her work. I would definitely request her again!! Thank you Ri!!

Absolutely love velvet beauty salon! Not only are they incredibly welcoming and friendly on arrival but they are so thorough when it comes to each treatment, be it a facial or a mani/pedi. The attention to detail and high standards throughout are second to none. I’ve just finished having a facial, shellac manicure and massage and have walked out on cloud 9. My type of spa treatment where they do a great job and you just know you are in capable hands. Thanks velvet!

Service here is always prompt, friendly and professional. There’s a reason the salon is always busy, with many return customers. Highly recommend getting one of the salon’s pedicure treatments which includes exfoliation, hot stone massage along either side of professional polish.

We had such a wonderful experience at Hardrock Nails! My two daughters and I came in for manicures and pedicures, and from start to finish the service was absolutely amazing. The staff did a fantastic job, so much attention to detail, and the results were beautiful.
