This is hands down one of the BEST waxing bars in Ottawa. Brenna and Shannon are so meticulous when waxing any body part on you. I’ve gone to other waxing bars in Ottawa and Kingston and hair is always left on me, when I leave Nova wax they make sure that no hair is left behind. They truly make me feel fantastic and I always come out feeling smooth and sexier than ever!!!

the place looks great, all staff members were very friendly and I was well guided through the whole process. It is the only place I trust for piercing in Ottawa!

Best wax bar in Ottawa!

Very professional and friendly staff with lots of great options for jewelry. I went in for my first piercings (lobes) and my piercer Alex was very nice and fun to talk to. He took great care in the placement of my piercings to make sure they looked great and was fast with the actual piercing to minimize pain.

Best eyebrow wax in Ottawa!

Such a great selection of products. Manu was incredible in helping me find what I liked and answering all the questions I had about my old piercings (and possible future ones!). She also explained everything she was doing as she put in my new earrings for me which I really appreciated - even though I wasn't getting pierced I was still nervous so having her talk to me throughout and explain the process made it a very enjoyable experience. Super excited to come back in the future for more jewelry and future piercings!

I had an incredible experience at vanity. My piercer (I'm sorry I didn't catch their name) was so calm, knowledgeable, and sensitive to my worries regarding a stubborn piercing I had gotten elsewhere. They listened and together we came up with the best plan of action for me and my body. The environment is clean and inviting as well as LGBTQ2IA+ friendly. It lacks the intimidating atmosphere I've experienced getting piercings in tattoo studios previously. I will definitely only be going to Vanity for piercings from here on out!

The best experience and service! Not only is Brenna extremely professional, she makes the whole waxing experience painless (or as painless as it can be haha) Brenna and the team is friendly, funny, accommodating and for what could be an awkward or intimating experience, makes it easy and even relaxing - Oh and there’s always an awesome playlist going, so that makes things fun too! I’ve been going to Nova Wax for over a year, and will absolutely continue to and will recommend it to anyone looking for waxing services in Ottawa.

I found the place clean and the staff friendly and very informative. I did end up with an extra poke, as the tech wanted to move the piecing higher for better aesthetics… a discount was given for that, which totally made it okay 😊 I cannot believe the crazy prices for the jewelry though. Very pretty, but insanely priced. A very thin simple 14k helix ring with a tiny cubic zirconia was $350! $150 would seem more appropriate for that, but that must be where they make their $, because $40 for a piercing seems very economical. Overall I’m happy, but feeling uncomfortable about what I paid…

Brenna is the absolute best! I’ve been to my fair share of waxing places and no one is as knowledgeable and efficient as her. Also the way she waxes is way less painful than anywhere else I’ve ever been. The place is super cute and the aftercare products are great! Brenna is also just an amazing human - if you get waxed and you are in Ottawa - this is the place to go.

Charlotte is a beyond incredible piercer. I've been pierced by many people but none who actually truly care about my wellbeing, comfort, and healing as much as Charlotte. I've gotten my tragus pierced by her and it's the easiest ear cartilage piercing to heal from that I've experienced. She proactively schedules check-in appointments to make sure it's healing right and consistently provides guidance to make sure it stays healing well. I'll always go back to Charlotte for any piercing going forward - I wouldn't trust anybody else with that kind of thing anymore!

Wonderful experience at Vanity Inc! My 13 year old daughter had her ears pierced by Manu, who was very patient and gentle. She explained every step before, and as she was doing, the piercing, which helped my daughter stay calm. And appreciate the pain was minimal! Would definitely recommend!!!

The absolute best experience here. I had so much fear about waxing after not waxing for a long time but Brenna was so sweet and professional that I almost felt no pain. The waxing room is so clean as well and well decorated which makes you feel comfortable. The best waxing place in Ottawa hands down!
