This was my first visit to Mak’s and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience. Ritu was absolutely WONDERFUL and fully exceeded my expectations. I can honestly say that even after 20+ years of getting blonde highlights and working with a ton of stylists during those years, she was the most thorough and meticulous stylist I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail was amazing, and she took extra care to make sure everything was just like I wanted. Excited to have finally found my “go to” stylist in Cumming!

I've been coming here for almost a decade. If you are going somewhere else for highlights, low lights, Keratin straightening, cuts or blowouts your missing out and paying way too much! Tatyana who owns the school teaches and trains these guys and ladies with all the newest techniques AND they use Redkin hair products!

The experience was great! My stylist was Kaitlyn and she did amazing. I got the keratin treatment done. Even when I was being picky about certain parts of my hair she took the time to go over it and satisfy me with no problem. I will definitely come back again! Thanks! Also the instructors walk around and check on the stylist occasionally which was nice to hear feedbacks. They truly do care about their students and their achievements.

Had root touch up and got a keratin treatment. I had a wonderful experience. Caroline was my stylist and she was through while still worked a a good pace. This is a very long appointment but went really well. Also the price can’t be beat.

I have to tell you, if you are going anywhere to have your hair colored, highlighted, Keratin or any other service at a salon STOP! I encourage you to go to Mak, they not only have great junior students they have senior students with teacher on the floor every day! All their products they use are Redkin. Tatayana has a great beauty institute, save money while supporting these students to keep gaining knowlege on different textured hair. I went to Maks salon to stylist Nargiz Tufangil. And asked her can you help me with my dry hair, And she recommended to do condition treatment , And she cut my hair about 3 inches,she spent more than 1 hours But its worth it,after my hair so soft and smooth , and way she cut my hair look so good. Angel did a wonderful job transforming my daughter's hair. She had over processed hair. Angel gave her a cut that is both good for curly and straight hair as well as low lights to help blend her natural hair with her highlights that will be easier for her to maintain and prevent any further damage. Angel also discussed with my teenage daughter the importance of self hair care and tips on how to care for oily roots and dry ends.

It was great. Asked lots of confirming questions about length (I got about 6 inches off) Super happy with it. The instructor came in at the end to polish the cut a little bit. But great service would recommend.
