I gave Elyssa complete creative freedom with my hair, and it was one of the BEST decisions I’ve made. I gave Lyssa free will to do what she wanted with my hair, and I couldn't be happier! I should have done this long ago. She ended up doing a balayage with lowlights and refreshed my cut. When I asked what made her decide on this look, Lyssa told me that She picked the color knowing that I would love it but found a tone that complimented my coloring, the lowlights for added dimension, and the cut because it's works with my lifestyle and looks great on me as well. I think she’s a good stylist but I am not sure where the confusion about my time came from and because I liked her I decided to say nothing. I waited while she did someone else’s hair because I felt I would get my full time, but then she literally rushed what she did with my hair, repeatedly stating that she had until 7pm; but I arrived at 5pm and waited so I am not sure if the stylists are informed about the time to spend but this left a sour taste in my mouth. I felt rushed and felt my hair was unfinished because the stylist was not aware of the time to allocate to my hair.

I rarely get my hair done and for my first ever service at dark Shugar, I got the best experience of having the exact hair I wanted and it came out great. Blessing was a gem and she took the opportunity to make sure that I loved the hair which I’m glad she did. It made me happy that what I envisioned came out even better than I expected. 5 star experience and service from dark shugar, would definitely recommend anyone to come get their beauty services from here.
