From the moment you step into the salon and are greeted by Francesco and Jeff, you know you are in for an amazing experience. Francesco will now be my hairdresser for life! Even if I ever move out of Cairns, I will travel back just to get my hair done by him. Availability and booking was really easy online and I was so happy to find somewhere open on a Sunday as I was visiting Cairns for the weekend! My service (blow wave) felt rushed as the stylist was under the pump and I had a bit of a headache by the end. However It was lovely to be served a mimosa on arrival and the staff (Jeff and Francesco) were both really friendly and I will definitely be back if I’m visiting again.

DJ gets my colour right EVERYTIME! They are both polite and professional. Happy not to talk if you don’t want to and happy to engage if you do. I don’t really like talking too much when I get my hair done, it’s my time out to reflect. But over the 2hrs I found myself talking about family and renovations and we always have a really good laugh with both DJ and Nikki. DJ listens and does what I ask for. He’s honest and tells me if I don’t need a cut this time and this was not the first time I paid less than he quoted over the phone and that is always such a lovely surprise at the end!

Absolutely loved my experience at Suede Hair in Cairns! I got a fresh cut and they did an amazing job refreshing my blonde hair after it had gone a little yellow from the sun & swimming during my holiday. The colour looks bright and healthy again. On top of that, I got to hold the most adorable, well-behaved dog while they cut my hair — honestly the best bonus ever 🐶💛 Everything was perfect from start to finish. Friendly, professional, and relaxing. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Addie since I moved to Cairns 2 years ago. She is incredibly skilled at figuring out what works for you and what you want as well as delightful to spend time with. She has helped me find a style that I can keep with little effort and has been tweaking my colour to fit the colours I like with my job requirements. Not always a straightforward job.

I am absolutely thrilled to find DJ. After a botched haircut 2 weeks ago l got to the stage that l could not put up with my hair 1 more day. After reading 4 hours of reviews l crossed my fingers and decided to make an appointment with DJ at Suede. It was 1am in the morning when l went to make an appointment. I couldn't believe it when he had an appointment for 4pm that day. It was meant to be. DJ is certainly a professional and knows his stuff. I have now found my new hairdresser in Cairns. I would highly recommend DJ 👌
