We are visiting Amsterdam from the Uk and decided to have a long overdue hair cut. Put in trendy hair cut Amsterdam and this place came up. Very fortunate to get the only available haircut of the day. Armand was superb, did a fantastic cut and style and was friendly and helpful. The only issue is having to come to Amsterdam for future cuts. Thanks, a fantastic experience.

She did a meticulous dry, curl-by-curl cut, perfectly executing the soft, feminine face-framing I wanted. She truly appreciated my natural ash blonde colour and even gave me a natural chamomile tip to maintain the tone. I live in The Hague, and was looking for a good hairdresser who would cut short hair. Going to Amsterdam for that was worth the trip. Konstantinos is amazing, very professional, and also a lovely person. I highly recommend Coup d'état, beautiful salon, great people, great job on haircut. And shampoo on the massage sofa is one more plus to the experience. Now I know who's my hairdresser in the Netherlands

It took me years to find a good hairdresser in Amsterdam and I finally have someone to trust both for coloring and haircut. My hair is so thin and needs volume and the senior hair artist here gives me the best micro layered cuts, it’s just what my hair needs. The service and the team is also super kind. The salon is gorgeous, it makes you feel so pampered.

Isa is een fijne en prima kapster in een prima zaak! Tot op heden so wie so een fijne ervaring, ook met Ram! Een authentieke en onderscheidende zaak met bijzondere kapsters. Maar wat is de reden dat het voorgedeelte van deze bijzonder ingerichte ruimte ineens is veranderd in een toeristen shop, al overvloedig aanwezig in Amsterdam? Jammer!

"I just had my first Cold Botox hair treatment and I’m absolutely in love with it! 😍✨ My hair was quite damaged, dry, with lots of frizz and split ends from coloring and heat styling. I was a bit nervous because I didn’t want anything too aggressive or straightening like regular keratin. But this cold version is so gentle — no hot iron at all, just amazing nourishing ingredients (keratin, collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamins) applied and left to work without heat. The process felt really soothing and relaxing, almost like a deep spa treatment for my hair.

I am genuinely so happy with my haircut! I've had curly hair my whole life and have been to countless salons across California, always hoping someone would truly understand how to cut curls. More often than not, I'd leave thinking, "Don't worry, I can fix it at home." Lea is the first stylist who truly understood my curls. She knew exactly how to shape them, enhance their natural movement, and bring them to life. I almost never write reviews, but this was one of those rare times I felt inspired to say, "Wow, she is amazing!" If you have curly hair, I can't recommend Lea enough.
