What is a hair transplant?

A hair transplant is a hair replacement procedure that moves hair follicles from one part of the body to an area that's thinning or bald.

You should see new hair appearing within the first six months.

What should I expect during a hair treatment appointment?

What your hair stylist does during a treatment will be dictated by the treatment you choose. Your treatment may be carried out on washed, unwashed, wet, or dry hair. Ask your stylist before you book your appointment what’s involved in the process and how long it’s likely to take. Applying a detox treatment takes a matter of minutes, hair toning can take between 5-20 minutes, hot oil and moisturising treatments take around 20 minutes, glossing is likely to take between 30 and 40 minutes, and you’ll need to allow 1-2 hours if you’re having your hair relaxed, and 1-3 hours if you’re booked in for a keratin treatment.

How often should I get a professional hair treatment?

Frequency depends on the treatment and your hair's condition. Deep conditioning treatments can be done monthly; bond repair treatments every 6–8 weeks; keratin treatments every 3–6 months. Your stylist will recommend a schedule based on your hair's needs.
