Michael is absolutely amazing! After losing my beloved stylist of 20 years—who set an incredibly high bar—I spent a long time searching for someone who could truly deliver. I tried several stylists in Charlotte, but it was always a compromise: some could handle color but not cuts, and vice versa. Then I found Michael. He’s meticulous with both cut and color, and he’s completely earned my trust. For the first time in a long time, I genuinely love my hair again. On top of his talent, he’s a total delight—fun, kind, and easy to talk to. I can’t recommend him enough!

I came across Fern & Ivy while at lunch one day and decided to give it a try, and boy am I glad I did, because I found my new stylist! Aubrey is amazing at what she does, a true master of her craft. I gave her very little guidance about what what I was going for on the color side for this fall and she completely slayed the color and cut. The salon has great ambiance and the stylists are knowledgeable, would highly to friends looking for a new spot.
