I just moved to Oshawa ( nearby town to Whitby) and I needed to find a new salon. Was very nervous finding a new stylist. Found this place based on some great reviews not to far from where I live . Melanie cut my hair and did a fantastic colour. The salon is cute and everyone working there are so nice made me feel welcome as if I am regular. Will be coming back soon for root touch up and trims. I am so glad I found this place. Prices are mid to high range however you can tell the quality of products is top notch including the mastery of the stylists ! thank you so much !

My daughter and I just started going to 5 One 7 and we have finally found our forever salon. The staff are so kind and full of good energy, the salon is cozy and warm, and the stylists are so talented. Hannah is amazing and is one of those stylists that make me wonder how we have lasted this long without her. I recommend this salon/barbershop to any man or woman who wants to sit in the chair of a true professional and leave feeling happy, refreshed, and with a bit more confidence! 😀

Honestly the best cut my son has ever received! His hair is incredibly dense and thick, but straight, which usually results in weird, inconsistent cuts where his hair falls funny or the fade is jagged. This time, his hair looks the best it's ever looked!

Andre is a magician!!y husband went in with a horrible mop of quarantine hair, he needs a cut every month at minimum, it was bad. Andre had his work cut out for him but he did a great job! It looks amazing. The fade is perfect, the texturizing of his hair is wonderful, a great, stylish and manageable cut. I have my handsome hubby back!

Jen is amazing she has been doing my hair close to 20 years i believe and I would never change hairstylist. She makes you feel very welcome. Super creative and is a wizard with clippers !!!! I always look forward to my appointments ☺️

As a man, I was a little intimidated to go here initially because I was so out of my element. It took less than 5 mins for me to feel welcome and confident. Katie is not only amazing at what she does, but she’s such a good person as well. So easy to talk to and she listens, which is nice. The staff is so down to earth and you can tell they are a cohesive group. Katie never lets me down and that’s why I will continue getting my hair cut there.

Love this place. Great staff and environment. When I walk in it feels like I’m entering an episode of “Cheers” except I walk out with a great haircut. Been going here since day 1. I highly recommend it. Oh, and Andre is a master with the clippers BTW.
