Yelisa is truly a blessing 🙏 She was extremely gentle when washing my hair and gave me the best blow-out I’ve ever had! She trimmed my ends perfectly and was overall very gentle and attentive, she’s super detailed too! I’ll definitely be visiting her again for a silk press, as well as routine trims. It’s very difficult to find stylist that work with Afro hair, but she’s truly a diamond in the rough.

Lyette is a magician! I have been going to Funky Toque to see her after getting referred by my sister in law a few years ago and no regrets since! Excellent service from both the hair dresser assistant Shasha at the sink for a lovely shampoo and massage + Lyette for my haircut and styling. Referred the rest of my family and also work colleagues to Lyette and they also fell in love! Felt like a million bucks walking out the hair salon. 10 out of 10 highly recommend if you want a customized experience and service to your needs! Much love! :)

Chika is hands down the best hairdresser I've been to. She's sweet and professional, this is only my second time with her, but I feel like it's been forever. I really appreciated Jeff’s approach as a client getting my haircut with him for the first time. Talked through what I was hoping to do with my hair, asked me about my care and styling regimen, and gave me good suggestions to better get what I want from my hair. Some of what he told me was not new to me, but I’ve never had a hairstylist give me so much useful information in a single sitting. Plus, he was interesting to talk to, and so far it seems like I’ve got a great haircut! I will be back.

Crystal is talented and super fun to talk to! She took great care of my hair considering it was a big job (color correction of uneven hair, Peekaboo+money piece and cut) and it came out better than expected. 10/10 would recommend!

I love this salon. My stylist Élodie is incredible at what she does. The salon is a sweet and friendly space full of comfortable spots to sit while your hair is processing. Usually, I bring work while I’m waiting between stages and there is steady wifi, tea and coffee, and a work counter that shows you how much care and thoughtfulness the salon puts in for their clients. It’s a welcoming space and I always leave the appointment feeling a great sense of restoration.
