I always had the best time with Aaliyah and Kirah. Good energy, great vibes and excellent customer service from start to finish. I love my hair, the take out and install went really well. My hair was still in good condition as I followed Aaliyah’s hair care advice. My hair has kept well on tour and I will continue to come back to Aaliyah’s salon as she’s the best. Michelle was warm, welcoming, and instantly put me at ease. After many letdowns, I’d been ready to cut my locs, but Michelle’s care, knowledge, and understanding restored my confidence. This was my first visit to Hair Affairs with what I consider an almost impossible task of repairing some severely damaged locs. However after a great welcome by the lovely Michelle and Claudia I was made to feel at ease knowing that I was now in the hands of real professionals. Let’s just say I took the long way home showing off the excellent results. Hair Affairs you have gained a permanent client from here on in thank you Michelle and for assistance thank you Claudia.

She took the time to understand exactly how I wanted my hair done, offered thoughtful suggestions, and explained each step of the treatment clearly. I really appreciated how she made sure I was happy with everything before finishing. I left with the cutest summer hairstyle. I'll definitely be showing it off at work! I started off my Loc journey with Maia 5 years ago and I've seen Maia monthly over the past 5 years to get my hair retwisted. She is quite simply the best in the game and her work speaks for itself. A truly exceptional workmanship when it comes to Locs. Highly recommend

Aaliyah and her assistant, Kirah, took significantly extra time to ensure the K-tip takedown was done with minimal damage, before ensuring that the keratin treatment was done with care thereafter. Very happy with my results - they go the extra mile to make sure they deliver top quality work, regardless of circumstances.

I must really commend Maia for this last visit because for some reason my hair was extremely sensitive and the middle hurt like f...! I told her about it and she was extremely gentle, kept asking if I was ok and she even styled my locs as loose as I asked her to. She showed no signs of annoyance. She was patient. Maia there really is no other like you. Thank you, thank you for the way you take of me and my hair!!!!!!!

What a wonderful experience..It was so relaxing .I loved the smells and the feeling of the different herbs being poured over my scalp and Locs !! My hair and scalp feel completely clean, and smell like sunshine and summertime . Highly Recommended

Wonderful service as usual! Michelle has been caring for my Sistalocs since she installed them 10 years ago! Never had any problems as Michelle has always been professional, knowledgeable as well as being an all round great person to chat to - the hours fly by in the salon and I look forward to the next retightening! Can’t believe it’s been 10 years! Very wise decision to have trusted Michelle with my hair. I highly recommended her and Sistalocs :-)
