Gelnegle har en tendens til at give en mere naturlig og glansfuld finish end akrylnegle; de hærdes under en UV-lampe og holder i omkring 2 uger. Akrylnegle er stærkere end geler og begynder at helbrede, så snart de udsættes for luft; de varer generelt i 6-8 uger, men skal fyldes efter 2 uger for at skjule genvækst. Begge kan bruges til at forlænge negle, og begge kan beskadige dine naturlige negle.

Hvor ofte skal jeg få repareret mine gelénegle?

En gang hver 2. uge. Gel negle helbreder (hærder) i UV-lys; det betyder, at de fortsætter med at helbrede i naturligt sollys. Jo længere du beholder din lak på, jo længere hærder den, og jo sværere er det at fjerne den. For at reducere risikoen for at strippe og beskadige dine negle, anbefales det, at du bestiller hos en erfaren negletekniker for at fjerne og gendanne din gel neglelak hver anden uge.
