Just moved here from Pittsburgh so I needed to find a nail salon to build a relationship with! So happy this was my first stop. Loved, loved, loved Yasmin. She was very welcoming and kind. She also went above and beyond helping me find my color. She also pays attention to detail so i left with the perfect manicure. Would recommend her and the salon to anyone!

I have lost count how many years I’ve been going to Marianna but it’s at least five in her new studio so maybe 7??? Every time she knows exactly what to do for blonde~ especially because sometimes I just walk in and I’m like “do your thing” and it turns out great. She’s funny, explains hair process well, easy to talk to and if there’s a few people in the salon at once, everyone talks to each other, so I feel like I’ve definitely met some awesome peeps over the years. For someone who used to go back to Connecticut every time to get her hair done, so glad to have found her!!!

The spa was clean and well appointed. The waxing was professional and thorough, and I felt very comfortable the entire time. I will definitely be going back, next time I’m adding the after-wax mask for some soothing relief.

Trevona is great at what she does. Very knowledgeable and attentive. I referred my sister to her, it was her first time sugar waxing, and she loved how careful Trevona was to make her experience less painless as possible.

I have been patronizing this establishment for several months now. Maya does my lash extensions and she is exceptional. Upon entering the salon all the technicians are pleasant. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing. Maya is thorough and a skilled professional. I had an emergency last week and was treated well by the owner when explaining the circumstances surrounding the emergency. It's always nice when professionalism, skills, aesthetics and comfort are combined it makes our experiences even more enjoyable!

Everyone (receptionists, lash technicians) were kind, professional, and communicative! In my appointment, I received a lash extension removal from another salon and a cashmere set from Lash-bar Foula. Min Milli was my lash technician; her communication throughout the session was reassuring and caring plus she has the gentlest hands (literally fell asleep during session and woke up like Sleeping Beauty) :) Overall super grateful and definitely my new lash salon whenever I’m in NYC!

Pick A Color is a FABulus nail salon. The nail technicians are all very warm, friendly and attentive to all your nail needs. Am very partial to one nail technician Taylz-Nailz. After a few years with another salon, I decided to try Thread. The greatest take away is that there are no after effects of the glue. Not even mild irritation. Yipee! Maya worked with my lashes, eye shape to give me a nice, everyday set. Next time, however I'd like to have a "fuller" mascaraed look. But overall am pleased. I'll give more feedback as the days go by. Will definitely return💕

Always fantastic! Ever since they opened, Thread has been my savior when it comes to threading and waxing. They have always been particular about cleanliness which makes me feel safe under the current circumstances because of COVID-19.

During my stay in New York, I decided to get my hair cut. Online, I found an independent hairdresser in Union Square. On the 12th floor of a historic building, I met Marianna and her assistant Annie in a small salon. The atmosphere was very pleasant, calm, with relaxing lounge music playing. Marianna was very focused and took great care and attention to detail with my haircut, which I love. Even after the first wash, my hair looks fantastic. (I never blow dry my hair). Thank you for this authentic New York experience.
