I went to Nova Luna for a consultation and had a wonderful experience. As a feminine guy, I’ve had past salon experiences where my goals weren’t taken seriously, so their LGBTQ+ friendly listing and free consultation made me feel comfortable reaching out. Kayla was welcoming, listened carefully, and gave thoughtful suggestions for my hair, including layering, color, and face framing. I felt genuinely seen, heard, and supported, and I’m really looking forward to going back next week!

Sam was very warm and welcoming, she explained everything that she had in mind while respecting and consulting me every step of the way. She was so easy to talk to and had tons of self taught/ self learned tips and tricks for curly hair. The whole atmosphere was great. I left feeling empowered, informed and feeling comfortable and confident with my curls

Before coming to see Sam I had never left a salon with my curls properly cut or styled. So this was my first time ever having a curly cut and Sam was amazing at explaining the process, giving new tips and tricks and was so friendly during the appointment. I left the salon with my curls properly styled and not as a poofy mess like in the past. My hair looks great and I’ve never been happier with a result!
