I had an excellent time and the results were satisfactory- I love my new hair! My only concern was that 1) it didn't clearly mention on the website that Salon 34 is run by the hairstylist training program at Abbotsford Secondary School and therefore 2) getting there was confusing, and I had to have staff let me into the school as the doors were locked and the website didn't give clear instructions on where the Salon was located and how to get there. Other than that, the appointment went smoothly and I got excellent care from one of the students while the instructor supervised.

I had an amazing first experience with the hair stylist Allison. From when I walked in I felt welcome. Very clean, beautiful and modern hair salon as well. She gives the best scalp massages, very knowledgable about hair, and was considerate after telling her I had sensitive skin/scalp and had told me all their products they use are mostly natural. She was very friendly and made sure I was ok with everything she was doing and explained every step which I loved! Definitely going to come back! Very happy with the service and haircut/thinning/styling I received.

I always love my visits with Melissa. I’ve been a client(turned friend) of hers for 10 years now and have followed her on each new adventure as she’s moved to different cities in the lower mainland. Great hair, great vibes, fun conversation, and is always straightforward with me when I want a change for my hair and what I can realistically expect. She’s a master stylist for a reason. She’s got top tier education, invests in herself so she can be a better stylist for her clients, and cares about what she does. Sit in her chair and you’ll love your hair!

Sarah is absolutely wonderful, kind, and patient with my daughter. The first time we saw Sarah was a few months ago and my daughter has been talking non stop about Sarah and the wonderful job she did on her hair. This time around Sarah also dyed the ends of my daughter’s hair purple which she was SO incredibly excited about as she has been asking about it for months.
