21 yrs later and I’ve finally found a great barbers! Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Premium price but worth it for a premium service - hair washed, most in-depth consultation I’ve ever had, barber explained in detail exactly what he was going to do to best achieve the style shown in the ref pic. As if that wasn’t enough, also got a free beer that’s specifically brewed for the place, great tasting beer too, I’d have been more than happy to pay for it. As someone who’s chronically insecure, a good haircut makes the world of difference, never felt so confident! I’ve found the 1 for me.

After many bad haircuts I decided to try Tilly’s as I’ve heard great reviews. Iv’e finally found a barber that cuts my hair exactly how I want it. I got a scissors cut and taper off Sofia, top quality, highly recommend. See you in a couple of weeks 👍

So many barbers, so few good ones. Hoi Polloi has been my go-to ever since I 1st went. Unfortunately, I had to go elsewhere for my last trim as I foolishly left it ‘til the last min, and here was inevitably fully booked due to its earned high demand. Yesterday my butchered barnet was finally rescued by Hoi Polloi. Perhaps unfairly, I was reluctant to go with newcomer Ash though I needn’t have been as she was SO lovely. Super welcoming, friendly and skilled. Took the time to listen to what I wanted, then explained in detail how to get there. The Hoi Polloi delivers once more!

Finally! I decent barbers ha! It’s taken a Year trying to find a barbers with patience and passion in giving a good cut like I’ve had in the other cities I’ve lived in. Rascals and Ruben showed pure quality in my cut. Looks on point from the fade to the scissor cut. Definitely making this place my regular. Thanks again!

George (anjo) is the best barber I’ve had in Newcastle. I’m a local and have tried many barbershops and barbers but no one comes close to George with his haircuts not to mention how nice of a guy he is making you feel welcome and listening to every detail of how you like your haircut to be. Amazing shop aswell with a cool vibe which offers a better experience than a typical barbershop

I’ve been going to this barber for more than a year now and I won’t look back. The free consultation each time talking through what I would like and what looks good , making sure I’m always happy with how I look, Is something many other barbers just don’t bother with, further more the banter is an absolute delight and I genuinely look forward to getting my hair cute every fortnight , thank you for always making me look and feel the best I can. Had a haircut with Phil who provided a great service. I hadn't had a trim in a while so had a mess of hair to work with. I didn't really know what I want but spoke to Phil about what I generally like. Phil took the time to talk me through what he was going to do and explained why it would suit me. When he was finishing up, he advised me on which products would be best suited for me and how to style my hair. I generally get a bit anxious going to a new barber but Phil's professionalism and knowledge put me at ease right away. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
